Ringo

There was a lot of talk about Ringo this week thanks to RingoJS vs NodeJS by George Moschovitis. Ringo used to be known as Helma NG, which is an evolution of Helma’s original platform which has been around for a long time.

Ringo is a CommonJS implementation based on Rhino.

Less.js

Less.js by Alexis Sellier is LESS running on browser or server-side JavaScript. It makes CSS a little bit easier to work with by adding variables, mixins, nested rules, and operations. It’s easy to learn and may find more popularity now it can be run in a browser.

Rejex

Rejex by Oliver Nightingale is a marvelous little tool for experimenting with regular expressions. It’s open source and implemented with jQuery and a tiny bit of Ruby.
